Coronavirus - planning ahead

Commenting on the current situation and the call for an exit strategy, a spokesperson from the Church of England said:

"During this coronavirus crisis, the Archbishops and the Diocesan Bishops, in consultation with senior lay people from across the church, taking advice from experts in health and science, are keeping under review the guidance they give to churches and the wider community.

"The Church of England is the Church for England, as the Archbishop of Canterbury has said. There is now a process in place to consider and keep under review any guidance being offered, and a network of groups is being created to plan for the future. In particular, the Bishop of London is convening a group looking at all issues relating to Recovery."
