Christian Blind Mission Sunday

by Michael Ford last modified 01 Oct, 2019 05:04 PM

Churches are being invited to mark Christian Blind Mission Sunday on or around Sunday the 13th October.

Every year Christian Blind Mission, the overseas disability charity, invites communities to mark the closest Sunday to World Sight Day.

They ask churches to hold services and undertake collections or fundraise to support Christian Blind Mission’s programmes to restore sight to those facing needless blindness in the world’s poorest places.

Heather Dyer, from the charity said:

"We have resources to help congregations learn, pray and give to ensure people living in the world’s poorest places with avoidable blindness are no longer out of sight and out of mind."

Churches who are interested can register here or call 0800 567 7000 to find out more and receive free resources.
