Christian Aid launches 'Prospect' in Wiltshire

by Michael Ford last modified 02 Oct, 2019 09:55 AM

Christian Aid are holding a series of special meetings in Wiltshire this month and church members are definitely on the guest list.

'Prospect' is a chance for you to share your views and ideas as well as to find out about the work of Christian Aid in 2020.

Yvonne Penn, Regional Coordinator for the charity in Wiltshire said the events were a chance to meet other supporters and recruit friends and neighbours to help fundraise for Christian Aid.

Everyone is invited to join Yvonne and she has a special request to those who come along:

"Please try to bring a guest who is not a regular supporter"

Each session will last approximately 2 hours and will include information about Christian Aid’s “Standing Together” strategy, campaigning and fundraising as well as supporter interaction and feedback.

They are taking place on:
Saturday 5th October 10am St Bartholomew’s Corsham
Tuesday 15th October 7.30pm St John the Baptist, Pewsey
Tuesday 22nd October 7.30pm St John’s Tisbury (Hinton Hall)
Saturday 26th October 10am Westbury Methodist Church
Tuesday 29th October 7.30pm Purton Methodist Church

For ease of planning, it would be helpful if you are attending to email in advance, but this is not essential and you can turn up on the day.
