The exhibition explores social and cultural changes in Great Britain and the Bourne Valley since 1969.

In opening the exhibition, the Bishop thanked the Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) for their care of 350 churches kept open and in use, receiving 2 million visitors a year.

He said, "The Church does not stay the same by standing still. This exhibition depicts change locally and nationally. The genius of the Church is in having the capacity to adapt ministry and mission to the needs of God’s world."
