Bishop John Wraw RIP *Updated
The Bishop of Salisbury writes:
‘It is with great sadness that I have heard the news that Bishop John Wraw died peacefully in his sleep at home in the early hours of 25 July 2017. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2014.
"John served in this diocese as Archdeacon of Wilts from 2004 to 2012 when he became Area Bishop of Bradwell in the Diocese of Chelmsford. He was a good friend and wise colleague to whom many in this diocese and beyond owe much."
A tribute to Bishop John by Bishop Stephen Cottrell may be found on the Chelmsford diocesan website.
UPDATE: John Wraw's Funeral Eucharist is on Monday 7 August, 1pm in Chelmsford Cathedral.
