Apppointing Parish Safeguarding Officers: new guidelines

The Diocesan Safeguarding Management Group has approved new documents setting out the role of Parish Safeguarding Officers and setting out the process for appointing a PSO.
These are for immediate use and implementation, however there is no expectation that this will be applied retrospectively.
Incumbents are asked to bring the bring the guide to the attention of your PCCs.
The documents can be found on the new area for PCC members and in latest updates on the website.
