Another kind of Rainbow
Our services have gone online during coronavirus, and so has Messy Church.
As the regular Messy Church families cannot get together in in parish of Portesham In Dorset, the Revd Margaret Preuss-Higham, assisted by 'Rainbow the Parrot', has been recording stories for the children to enjoy at home during the lockdown.
She has also set them some tasks, making Easter gardens, and eggs to hang in the churchyard trees.
Elliot aged 6 says:
"The stories are fun, especially the parrot Rainbow!"
His mum Sam says:
"He likes taking a break from schoolwork to listen to them. He loves seeing Revd Margaret on the screen and likes the fact that all his friends are watching too."
