Alleluia

by Michael Ford last modified 24 Apr, 2020 05:02 PM

The lockdown is certainly opening our eyes to all sorts of things and for some it is certainly renewing their hope at such a difficult time.

Simon Parsons, from the Golden Cap Team of Churches, recently discovered the Alleluia flower.

Simon said:

"On my walk today I came across one small flower that I did not recognise. With the help of an app on my phone I discovered that it is called 'Wood Sorrell.' I was delighted to read this about it as it told me that it is also known as Alleluia because it blossoms between Easter and Pentecost, when the Psalms which end with Hallelujah are sung."
