To mark Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, celebrations of all sorts have taken place over the special bank holiday weekend.
From bake-offs to decoration and costume competitions, from street parties to joyful thanksgiving services, the people of Salisbury Diocese know how to celebrate.
St Nicholas Corfe Mullen celebrated the Jubilee with community by hosting a wonderful afternoon tea. At their family service they celebrated Pentecost and the Jubilee by making a giant crown together - lots of fun for all ages.
St Peter's Parkstone threw a right royal bash which included biscuit decorating and a fancy dress competition – and the entrants looked like royalty themselves.
St Mary’s Church, Weymouth, had a display kindly put together by Neil Biles, Town Centre Chaplain. A special prayer of thanksgiving for The Queen was on the board.
Emmanuel Church Southill marked the occasion with cakes, crowns, music, dance and loads of sausages - all for free to bless the community. They then rounded off a packed weekend with a joint Platinum Jubilee and Pentecost worship service which included royal biscuits, party poppers and praying Come Holy Spirit!
St Marys Devizes had a fabulous exhibition entitled 'Majesty', which displayed artwork from primary school children. You can read all about it here.
