75 years of life-saving work

by Michael Ford last modified 16 Jul, 2021 05:47 PM

Christian Aid is one of our key mission partners in this Diocese, and many parishes will be celebrating 75 years of the charity's life-saving work.

As well as a chance to get together safely, there is the Christian Aid Emergency Appeal to fundraise for, which you can read more about here.

In Harnham, there will be a Christian Aid Summer Garden Party on Saturday 7th August, 2.30-4.30pm on the Church Field.

Salisbury Christian Aid Committee says:

"There will be cream teas, cakes and preserves, tombola, books, bric-a-brac, jewellery and Odds and Ends plus a children’s fun corner.

"All proceeds will go to the Christian Aid Emergency Appeal as it reaches out to the millions on the brink of starvation in 20 countries, South Sudan being one of them.

"Do come and support us and so support them! We would love to see you."

There is a flyer here.
