5,000 Flip Flops
Did you know that in the 10 years Weymouth Street Pastors have operated, they have given out nearly 5,000 pairs of flip flops?
That's 4,743 pairs as of 2 October 2019.
This has meant that 1,000s of good nights out have been completed without injuries or damage to people’s feet from broken glass or other objects.
A recent Facebook post says:
"Whatever the weather, teams will be out on Friday and Saturday nights. Weymouth Street Pastors engage with those who are young, searching, vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless, incapacitated, injured, confused, depressed - the list goes on! We love that we are able to spend time and help so many people in their time of need. His church amongst His people. See you soon"
