St Mary’s Fund, Salisbury
-
Makes grants to promote and maintain moral welfare in accordance with Christian principles mainly among girls and women in Salisbury Diocese.
-
Provides grants of about £300 for single parents in need. Most grants are made following a referral from a Health Visitor or Social Worker but clergy may also make referrals where necessary.
The fund also supports some larger projects that provide services that may benefit single parent families such as the Mothers' Union holiday scheme and work at women’s refuges.
Decisions on such grants are made in the late Autumn each year and applicants are encouraged to discuss proposals in advance with Colin Brady.
