Safeguarding Face-to-Face Leadership Training Course Saturday, 3rd July 2021
Group of 8 - Only one session in two parts - 11.30 - 1.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm
This new Leadership Course in safeguarding replaces the old C2/C3/C5. It is doing done in COVID Secure centres and limited to just 6 participants per course. This is being offered for those that are not able for whatever reason to access the Virtual Leadership Courses that have been the only option up to now via the Zoom online platform. If you are able to use Zoom please do NOT book on one of these courses as you will take a space away from someone who cannot manage the technology. Also, and equally important, if you find you are unable to attend please preferably login and cancel /send apologies in the “My courses” on your website login or call so that someone else may be able to take your place.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Unfortunately due to restrictions we will not be able to provide refreshments – so do please bring whatever you need for lunchtime and drinks with you.
This course like its virtual counterpart is being done in two sessions, one 11.30 to 1pm followed by a second session 1.30-3.00pm and is done for people who carry leadership responsibilities in parishes. It will help participants understand how to respond to serious safeguarding concerns, the importance of proper recording and working in partnership with others.
Please note: when booking on a safeguarding course please add your Parish/Benefice/Team information in the notes section below the box where you enter your role. Many thanks
We regret you CANNOT book another person on to a course as each person has to be registered. If they do not have access to the internet please get them to call the office
