Being Followers of Christ

Affirming and growing the everyday faith of every Christian in a post-pandemic world and making meaningful connections between faith and our words and actions in everyday life

Affirming and growing the everyday faith of every Christian in a post-pandemic world and making meaningful connections between faith and our words and actions in everyday life
We explore the radical (root) nature of the call to follow Jesus and how we connect discipleship with every aspect and sphere of life, meeting people at whatever place or stage they might be. From there we move on to explore the call and walk of discipleship and what that means for us as we go ‘as’ the Church. Open to anyone, lay or ordained, who wants to pray, serve and grow, making the most of the opportunities that a post-pandemic world offers.

Guest speaker: Nick Shepherd, Programme Director for the Church of England’s Setting God’s People Free initiative.
Additional input from lay members of churches across the diocese.
