Year 13 History visit National Archives

A Level Historians at the National Archives

Holding the very documents Queen Elizabeth I had herself written; studying first hand records of courtiers; handling letters and memoranda from the 16th Century. Each of these spell binding experiences were on offer to Year 13 historians at the National Archives on Friday 17th November.  Described as a 'spiritual' experience by one student, it certainly came as quite a surprise that the history of this era is very much alive in the documents that survive.
