World Challenge Launch
Wednesday 7th September saw the launch of our World Challenge expedition to Nicaragua. Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 flooded into the assembly hall at 3pm to find out more information about the visit and the necessary requirements for the application process. Following the initial launch, our World Challenge representative, Lydia Gibson, is due to meet with students and parents to offer an insight into this exciting opportunity shortly after that we expect a number of letters of application. After much deliberation, discussion and interviews with students we will be able to publish the list of our selected teams, so that they might meet to plan and prepare for their adventure.
Our first world challenge visit will allow students to take part in a gruelling trek through Nicaragua’s volcanic landscape, community work with a local Nicaraguan village and an exhilarating zip line adventure through the rainforest.
