The cast works flat out to produce this year’s Shakespeare production
The Tempest is a ‘marvellous magical cabinet’ according to one scholar. But in our rehearsals, no amount of magic has engendered limitless energy to the actors. Here, in a back stage insight, Caliban (Mr Dobson) catches a rare moment of a lie down, preserving his energies for his electrifying performance as the native beast of the island.
Tickets are on sale now, available from members of the Leadership Team: £2 for students; £4 for adults. The proceeds will go towards the school’s charity. Our annual staff Shakespeare has become a decade-long tradition and the energies invested are devoted to some visiting primary schools and enriching students’ own study of the play.
