St Paul's Evensong
In the quietude of contemplation, 50 singers from Holland Park enriched St Paul's daily worship this week in their singing of choral evensong. Performing canticles by Orlando Gibbons (short service) and a motet by Victoria (O Sacrum Convivium), the music offered space for meditation and pause in a busy world and gave some of those new to the choir an opportunity unlike any other, to sing in one of the most glorious buildings London has to offer.
