School Experience Goes Large
Another 100 visitors through the doors, as experiences of teaching and the profession expand
It was another week of welcoming towards 100 potential trainee teachers to see the school. In amongst seeing lessons and hearing from Colin Hall, the Head and National Leader of Education, about the school's history and the demands and thrills he sees inherent in teaching, there was also the opportunity to undertake some training in creative lesson ideas, the management of behaviour and professional values. The week of experience culminated once again in some teaching en mass on Thursday and Friday, as students from Years 7 and 8 benefitted from the subject expertise of many of our visitors and our visitors enjoyed the feedback and views of our students about how their teaching went.
