Remembrance

As part of our commitment to the national week of remembrance, Sixth Form students having been swarming the local community this morning in their droves selling poppies and promoting the appeal that remembers the work of so many veterans who have served their country, risked their lives, to keep us safe, secure and at peace. In the coming week, an event at the Town Hall, commemorations of silence and discussion groups in PSHCE about the debt we owe to those who have given their lives so that ours might be full and joyful, all mark the history that has safeguarded us and celebrate our privilege of living in Britain today.
