Record A-Level Results

Holland Park students have received another set of stunning examination results. We send our warmest congratulations to students for their application of diligence and talent which has produced a record year of top results. Over 15% of results were at A* and 50% of all grades were at A* or A in a third successive year that sees us more-or-less doubling national proportions of the top grades.

Some individual student performance is particularly stunning. Joseph Bourdier, with three A*s, has secured his place to read Engineering at the University of Oxford, whilst Lailita Docherty (also boasting a clean-sweep of three A*s) sets out to Bristol this September to begin her Law degree. Eight students have been successful in obtaining a place at either Oxford or Cambridge, including a student who obtained four A*s. Eve Herzberg has secured her place to read Natural Sciences at Downing College, Cambridge and Caterina Tucker’s string of four A*s and As has won her a place to read English at University College Oxford. Sammy Arab’s A*A*A has confirmed his destination to Imperial College, University of London to read Medicine and he is one of a number of students who are about to embark on the study of medicine this year.
