Draw against St Mary Magdalene Academy
Superb play throughout from Holland Park, but a level score was testament to SMMA's tenacity
Wednesday 6th December saw the arrival of St Mary’s Magdalene Academy who were crowned last year’s champions in the football league.
Despite the rain and blistering cold Holland Park dominated for the majority of the game and this was reflected in their 3-1 lead, but whatever gains we managed to sustain for the greater proportion of the game, St Mary’s showed an abundance of energy and quality to secure a point in the final 15 minutes with two superbly taken goals.
