Take "Caffeine" or "Bing" for a test-drive
Give the new search technology a go using this Caffeine search preview. Google promises fast searching, faster indexing of results and more accurate comprehensive results.
"It's the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions," say Google engineers Sitaram Iyer and Matt Cutts in this google blog post.
Google are looking for feedback. Especially on the differences in results using Caffeine as opposed to standard Google search. If you want to feedback, do a search at http://www2.sandbox.google.com/ and look on the search results page for a link at the bottom of the page that says "Dissatisfied? Help us improve." Click on that link, type your feedback in the text box and then include the word caffeine somewhere in the text box.
On the other hand you may want to take a look at the beta of the Bing search engine. Studies are showing that the new Microsoft search technology actually "monetizes" more search results. In real English this means that people are more likely (55%) to click on a revenue-generating advert in Bing than currently with Google.
