Recruitment made easy for the City Academy
Like many schools, The City Academy, Hackney is often advertising for new teachers and other staff. As they had recently launched their new Beetlebrow-built web site, it was sensible to integrate recruitment with the rest of their online presence.
What was required was a web app which would let Academy administrators upload new vacancies easily, with a built-in expiry date, and allow candidates for the vacancies to sign up to complete and submit their applications online. The app needed to be able to store partially completed applications, so candidates could come back later to finish the process.
Once the closing date was passed, Academy administrators needed to be able to download the applicant data in a Excel-compatible format, as well as in a zipped up file containing a PDF version of each application and any associated CVs.
Beetlebrow built all this to schedule and within budget, and The City Academy has now moved its recruitment entirely online.
