Stone Pier
The Stone Pier is a very popular pier all year round, Being deeper then the Pleasure Pier a few more species can be caught from here. During recent years Rays have been caught from here with Conger Eels also being caught. During the summer you can catch a wide range of fish including Mackerel, Gars, Pollock, Bass, Bream, Wrasse, and many many more species can be targeted. Popular methods are float fishing, spinning, and bottom fishing with Ragworm or fish baits. Please note there is no Feathering on this pier.Please take all rubbish and plastic packaging on with you as plastic pollution is a real problem with our seas, and it is affecting the marine life that inhabits it.
